From within the echo chamber

Blogging like its…2024.

I’m always going to do the unpopular thing. And today? I’m (re)starting a blog.

I have been waffling over the idea of blogging again; I used to always have one and I’ve been missing having my own space. Over the past year, I’ve sat with the idea of how capable I am and how much I know how to do. I’ve worked so many late nights on lots of little projects but also on myself and what’s happening is that it’s all culminating to this moment right now. I’ve made up my mind, and I can’t wait to share with you again, like I always used to.

What will this space be?
This new blog is a place for me to share:

  • My Art—My practice that investigates my curiosities, tells my story, or answers (for me) unresolved histories.
  • Outfits—I recognized that the way I express myself outwardly is a huge part of how I love myself. I’ve really missed outfit posts, and the excitement a solid outfit brings me and the impact it has on my mood. My style? Well, I appreciate both unique pieces and sustainability, and I typically avoid micro-trends.
  • Beauty—I am no cosmetics connoisseur, but scaled back makeup and a skincare-centered beauty routine feels most like home these days.
  • Lifestyle—All the little bits of my day-to-day. What I do, the spaces I forge, the people I see, and the way I create my own happiness.
  • Inspiration—I have no interest in claiming to be wholly original. As an artist, sometimes some cool things happen as a result of a mistake. I’ll be sharing these little things that create pique my interest.

Here’s to a launch in a space that is 100% mine. I am in awe of myself and it’s only going to get better 🙂

Until next time.
♡ Melanie
